*taps the mic* Ahem…*croons* Theeeese are myyyy confessioooons…
Often, I make decisions based on whether I’d be happy with that choice being the last thing I do:
“If I die tomorrow, will I have no regrets with charging $200 worth of clothes on a card that is almost at its limit?”
“If I die tomorrow, will I be glad I busted my ass off for an extra 8 hours on Sunday, my day of rest?”
“If I die tomorrow, will I be thankful that I didn’t ask that guy for his number and stayed in my comfort zone?”
Sure, this could be justifying some TURRIBLE decision making, but it has helped me to see that I should enjoy life to the fullest (cause it is short)! It’s encouraging to focus on things that matter to me the most, that keep me passionate.
Second, self-care is important for a healthy body and mind. This includes the ability to express ourselves and our love language. Bottom line, this life is my own and it should be fun…Maybe not so much for my credit limits. I should work on that LOL.
