by It’s no surprise that I see y’all hitting up my BTS ARMY Bomb Lightstick Bluetooth Fix post. It was always my intention to help others by providing as much information as possible on this blog. When I went to Love Yourself Tour and visited the Help Desk, I just HAD to share how they fixed the Bluetooth mode on my BTS lightstick.
My job irl partially functions as a Help Desk and you won’t believe how many people contact me simply stating, “This doesn’t work.” It’s hard to help when there’s no additional information, and it’s hella difficult prying information from the user so that they can RECEIVE help.
I don’t pretend to know everything about the BTS lightstick, of course not! But my basic instinct is to help as many of the fam as possible, IF possible. I don’t want anyone with a lightstick to miss out on the concert experience during Bang Bang Con and other opportunities on Weverse.
SO! If you attempted the BTS ARMY Bomb Lightstick Bluetooth Fix and it’s not working, please share what you did. If there’s an error or missing details in my post (which is possible), please help me find it by giving clarification as to how you followed the instructions in the Fix post. I’ll update the post and include credits. Refining the post is a collaborative effort, where your experience (clarification) is passed forward to enrich the lives of other ARMY. Let’s make sure the fix is accurate for the HUNDREDS of people that land on the page.
Side Note: I have a dear ARMY friend that mentioned the updated Lightstick app wasn’t working properly on her Samsung phone when it worked fine before the update. This could be a factor in why the Bluetooth connection may not be “working.” But, I’d need details like this LOL!
It’ll also satisfy my curiosity because (SWEAR!) the Help Desk rep literally had a sheet of black adhesive cushion dots in front of him, pulled the battery cage out, attached the dot the bottom of the cage, and then screwed the end of the stick back together. He spent more time joking around with bro in the back, that he was more impressed with his goofing off skills than fixing ARMY Bombs.

I was able to use my army bomb for one concert, no issues! Today I brought it back out for bang bang con and was devastated. I googled every hack, battery, and Bluetooth fix possible. It just isn’t turning on! My batteries were low when I brought it out, so I switched them. After multiple switches, the lightstick still did not turn on, it was upsetting. Now, I’m missing bang bang con after turning the house upside down for any possible batteries. I tried pushing up the battery pack, as well as reinstalling the app. The lightstick just does not turn on.
Adding on, I also tried connecting with the app even while the light was not on- it didn’t work.
Oh noes! If I am understanding correctly, your ARMY Bomb worked at one time, but now it doesn’t even turn on? I’m really sorry to hear that. I wish I could help! Assuming the battery pack was inserted correctly, something must’ve happened either before the Bomb was put away or there must’ve been signs that something was off with the Bomb when you retrieved it and replaced the batteries? BUT! Regardless, you can still enjoy all the concerts Big Hit and BTS prepared for us without the ARMY Bomb and all of ARMY will be commenting on Weverse, YouTube and Twitter so you won’t be alone <3!
hi! I’m really out of my wits with this one, I’ve used my army bomb once and it was working fine with the Bluetooth and everything and that was about a year ago. Now I’ve taken it out to use it for bangbangcon but it doesn’t flicker blue at all when i switch it to bluetooth, even when i changed the batteries I’m unable to connect it even in self-mode.
Do you have any idea why this may be happening or how to fix it? 😭
Oh no! Did something happen to your ARMY Bomb since the last time you used it? My lightsticks sit upright on a bookcase whenever they’re not in use and I haven’t altered them. As long as you changed the batteries with new ones (packaged, unused) and inserted the battery cage so that the pointed end goes first, there shouldn’t be a problem. I’ve had my ver. 3 lightstick since the first wave of sales and it’s been with me to work, the movies, watch parties and two BTS concerts O.O!

I’ve used my bomb one time at the concert, and now the bluetooth mode doesn’t work anymore. The blue light of bluetooth mode is still on, but it cannot connect to self mode on the lightstick app or connect to lightstick on weverse and bangbangcon.
So do you have any idea on how to fix it? I appreciate for your help 💜

First, I have to say that connecting my ARMY Bomb SE to Bang Bang Con The Live didn’t completely work for me. It would connect but not change colors. I think BigHit might be still sorting out the kinks with their system. I did notice that my computer needed to connect to bluetooth mode as well. I didn’t have the option to connect bluetooth mode to Bang Bang Con The Live on my cellphone or tablet at all.
As far as the light stick app, definitely make sure it’s the latest version. That could pose an issue if it’s not up to date.
Usually, I recommend making sure the battery pack has completed a stable circuit with the bluetooth feature but your bluetooth mode consistently flashes blue. You could try it anyway. Manually push the battery pack upwards and while holding the pack, try to connect to the app (after verifying it’s updated).

hello, my army bomb was working when I got it, but when I watched the online concert and paired it it got disconnected. So now it wont pair with the app and weverse. When I try to connect it says “disconnected official lightstick”…i don’t know how to fix it.
Help! I just got my ARMY bomb M.O.T.S SE and it won’t leave bluetooth mode. I don’t know for sure if it’s official or not, as i got it as a Christmas gift. It just keeps blinking blue. Even if i switch it off, it still has a faint blinking blue light. If i slide the switch up, it STILL blinks blue. If I slide it down, it still blinks blue. I tried googling it, no results. Looked in the instructions. No results. PLEASE HELP

It doesn’t connect to any videos on YouTube. You can only connecttho videos specified “army bomb” on weverse and watch it on your phone. It doesn’t work with a computer.

I finally got my bts light stick version 3 from Amazon who sold it from China. But the problem is that my light stick won’t connect to btsofficiallightstick and Weverse app.

Hello! I brought ARMY BOMB SE today from cokodive but the Bluetooth is connecting with my phone (galaxy a02s) , i don’t know what to do
So I bought a bts lightstick version 3 for my boyfriend for his birthday. When it came it doesn’t turn on when it’s switched on. At first I thought it didn’t work, or the batteries weren’t in correctly. I switched the batteries, tried new batteries nothing. It can connect via the Bluetooth and the app but it doesn’t just turn on like it should. Is there something wrong with it, is it fixable. It worked before I got it.

The problem is with the switch mainly I guess. Sometimes the normal mode is not working and sometimes when I am switching the bluetooth mode the normal white light is appearing. Other than that sometimes bluetooth mode is not turning on..maybe if u know someone who has faced this kind of issues kindly help me please 😭
hi I’ve been having the same problem but its for the map of the soul light stick. it’ll connect to bluetooth but it won’t show the blue flashing light when i pair it and i can’t switch it to any blues, pinks, or purples went i have it connected. please help😭
